Families drive to us from across Collin County.
Everything happens in one building on West University Drive, with one team, so nobody is handed between sites. Here is what the drive actually looks like from the towns our families come from, and what tends to matter from each one.

West University Drive is US-380, the road that runs east to west across the top of Collin County. If you are coming from Prosper, Princeton or anywhere else along it, you are already on the right road. If you are coming from the south, the Dallas North Tollway and US-75 both feed into it.
The times below are the ordinary door-to-door drive outside rush hour. Add ten to twenty minutes for a weekday afternoon, particularly anywhere south of us, and remember that a center-based day here runs 8:00am to 5:00pm, which means your drive lands either side of the worst of it.
Approximate, and worth checking against your own address. If the drive is the thing standing in your way, say so when you call. In-home ABA runs Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm to 6:30pm, and for some families that is the answer instead.
Prosper, Celina and Melissa.
Prosper
About 15 minutes, straight along 380
The simplest drive of the lot, and the reason a good number of Prosper families are here rather than somewhere closer to the tollway. Prosper ISD runs its own evaluation process, and we work alongside it rather than in competition with it: a district finding eligibility and a doctor giving a diagnosis are two separate things, and you can run both at once.
Celina
About 20 to 25 minutes down Preston
Celina has grown faster than services have followed it, and there is not much for autism locally yet. Families here usually want to know whether a full day is realistic with that drive. Often it is, particularly for younger children whose day ends before the afternoon traffic builds.
Melissa
About 12 to 15 minutes on 75
One of the shortest drives to us, and easy to underestimate because Melissa feels further out than it is. If your child is under three, ask about ECI first: it is free, it comes to your home, and the deadline that matters is their third birthday.
Anna, Van Alstyne and Princeton.
Anna
About 18 to 22 minutes on 75
A straight run south on US-75 and then west. Anna families often tell us they had been looking in Sherman or Plano and had not realised McKinney was the shorter drive.
Van Alstyne
About 25 to 30 minutes on 75
The furthest we would normally suggest for a full-day program, and some families do it happily while others would be better served closer to home. We will tell you honestly which you are, including if the answer is that we are not the right fit.
Princeton
About 15 to 18 minutes along 380
Due east on the same road we sit on, so it is one turn and you are here. Princeton has very little autism provision of its own, and a lot of families end up driving somewhere. This is one of the shorter versions of that drive.
Frisco, Allen and Plano.
There are more autism providers south of us than north, so families from these three usually arrive having already looked at two or three others. What they are normally comparing on is the waitlist, the building itself, and whether they can watch a session without arranging it first. You can, here, and unannounced.
Frisco
About 20 to 25 minutes
North on the tollway or Preston, then east along 380. Straightforward outside rush hour, slower in it.
Allen
About 15 to 20 minutes on 75
Short, and the traffic is the only variable. Allen ISD families often come to us for school shadowing alongside center hours.
Plano
About 25 to 35 minutes on 75
The longest of the three, and heavily traffic-dependent. Worth an honest conversation about whether a shorter day, or in-home hours, fits your week better.
There are three other shapes this can take.
In-home ABA runs Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm to 6:30pm. A therapist comes to you, and the work happens where the difficulty actually is: the kitchen at dinner, the bathroom at bedtime, the front door on the way out. For some families this is not a compromise, it is the better option.
School shadowing puts support into your child's own classroom, wherever that classroom is. If the hard part of the day is school, the drive to a center does not address it.
A shorter day. Not everyone needs full days, and we will not tell you that you do in order to fill a chair. Some children do better on a few hours a week alongside school or preschool. The assessment is what settles it, not the schedule we would prefer.
